Welcome! Whether your dentist referred you or you found us on your own, here’s what to know before your first visit to Eastpoint Endodontics.
Before your visit
Most of our patients are referred by their general dentist. If you were referred, your dentist will usually send us your X-rays and notes ahead of time.
Call us at (801) 901-6095 to schedule. If you’re in pain, tell us when you call and we’ll get you in as soon as possible.
What to bring
- A photo ID
- Your dental insurance card, if you have one
- A list of the medications you take and any health conditions
- Your referral slip or X-rays, if your dentist gave them to you
For your comfort
- Headphones or earbuds. Many patients like to listen to music, a podcast or an audiobook during treatment.
- Comfortable clothes, with a light layer in case you get cool while you’re relaxing in the chair.
- Lip balm, since your lips can feel dry after keeping your mouth open for a while.
- A meal beforehand, unless we’ve given you different instructions. You may be numb for a few hours afterward.
- A ride home if you’re planning on sedation.
Insurance and payment
We accept most dental insurance plans. See the insurance plans we accept, or call our insurance specialists with questions. We also accept CareCredit, which lets you spread the cost of treatment into monthly payments.
What to expect
Your first appointment usually includes an exam, any needed X-rays or 3D imaging, and a conversation about your options. Read more in What Happens During Your First Visit to an Endodontist?
